Welcome to androgynychurch.com, the online home of a congregation that embraces the concept of androgyny (as a state of being and consciousness) as the central foundation of our faith and practices.

Our congregation was established with the awareness and experience that consciousness (as a way of experiencing and living reality) and gender (as identity) are not binary constructs—as currently imposed by societal dogma—but rather a full spectrum encompassing both masculine and feminine qualities.

We believe that every individual, regardless of their gender identity or expression (as a creative entity), possesses both masculine and feminine energies, and that these qualities are VALUES!

Each of these values manifests uniquely within creation, not in a hierarchical but in a complementary and supportive manner. Therefore, our congregation is built on the conviction that, as every individual has masculine and feminine qualities, progressively and creatively embracing these qualities leads to a more harmonious and fulfilling life.

Furthermore, we believe that beyond the masculine and feminine energies lies a third state of wholeness, the androgynous state of being, from which masculine and feminine qualities can emerge and within which these energies can manifest distinctly.

The Church of Androgyny is thus a place of self-respect that encompasses all the beauty and balance of masculine and feminine energies, as well as states beyond these. We believe that androgyny is not just a physical condition but also a spiritual, emotional, and mental state of being, and therefore a societal and cultural state of consciousness.

Our teachings are rooted in the principles of Balance, Unity, Individuality, and Equality, striving to create a space where individuals can connect with their True Selves and Each Other without judgment or limitations.
